He had an enormous capacity to appreciate humor and enjoyed meeting people and spending time with family and friends. Murph’s other interests include Civil War reenacting as a Bucktail for over three decades, French and Indian era reenacting, backpacking, hiking, primitive camping, and hunting…“but not finding”. He pursued blacksmithing, from his youth as a hobby and presented demos paired with “telling lies” atparks and festivals for many years. He also worked with Otto Cupler Torpedo Company in Titusville. As a licensed blaster and great lover of fireworks, he worked for 34 years with Fire Art Corporation in Clearfield as a “shooter” for shows and more recently Kellner’s in Harrisville. Prior to teaching, he worked at Quaker State Refinery in Emlenton, Pangborn Abrasives in Butler, and Electralloy in Oil City. Marys Area School District in Elk County for 30 years where he was awarded teacher of the year. and master’s degrees in sciences and education from Clarion University, Murph taught science in the middle school of St. Murph attended A-C Valley Schools and graduated from Carson Long Military Academy in 1971. There will be no visitation or service for Tracy, the family only wishes that those who knew and loved her would take a moment of silence on their own to think of a happy memory or thought of Tracy in a celebration of her life. Tracy was proceeded in death by her beloved stepfather Chuck Fox, her maternal grandparents William and Katherine Groll and a paternal grandfather Patrick Blessel. Tracy loved listening to music, dancing and had a unique ability of remembering all the lyrics to every song she heard. ![]() When possible, she gave much of her time to charities where she helped raise money for those struggling after a disaster. Her heart was huge always wanting to help others, especially the veterans, delivering food or just going to visit them at their homes. Tracy was great at taking photographs, loved it very much. Tracy also loved the lake and feeding the deer and wildlife. She got to experience many new things like traveling to Sturgis bike rally, she loved riding motorcycles and watching the Pirates at PNC park whenever she could. He was born July 28, 1948, in York County. Tracy lived in Treasure Lake for a number of years with her partner Ed Cilladi, who she leaves behind as well. Bruce Comer, age 74, of Elk Park passed away Sunday, Monday, June 5, 2023, at Glenbridge Health and Rehab. Marys, and her grandmother, Joan Blessel of Daguscahonda, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews who she loved and loved her dearly. ![]() In addition she is survived by two brothers, Joseph Blessel of Kersey, PA, Peter (Sabrina) Blessel of St. Tracy is survived by a daughter Kaylynn Baumgratz along with a granddaughter Zoey Blum of Pittsburgh PA. Her gaining this education led her to a rewarding career helping others. Tracy graduated from Ridgway Area High School in 1992, she attended Penn State University in Dubois, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies, she then went on to finish a master’s degree at Clarion University in Rehabilitative Science. ![]() Tracy L Blessel, age 46, left this earth on May 1, 2020, she was born Apin Elk County. ![]()
